high resolution images of the historic royal gorge route railroad TO OBTAIN HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES: Click “Download High Resolution Image” under any image to open a 72 dpi version of that image. Save the image on your computer using the Save Image option from your browser. Import this image into any photo manipulation program, such as Adobe Photoshop (be sure to turn off file constraints), and reduce the image size until the desired resolution is achieved. The images below are 4 to 5 megs in size and take a bit of time to download. They are all RGB and will need to be converted to CMYK for a four color press. Most images will have a resolution of 300 dpi when the shortest dimension (width or height) is reduced to 5 inches. These photos may be used for editorial promotion of the Royal Gorge Route as a travel destination. They may not be sold or used for advertising private, for-profit businesses.
